Joe Bryant, MBA, Management Consultant & Managing Partner of LRD Professional Services, which offers customized accounting, payroll, tax services, and MBE, WBE, or DBE certification for non-profits and small businesses—either completing the work for the organizations, or increasing the capacity of staff through training so they are able to carry the work forward. Mr. Bryant also serves as the Director of Business Administration for Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield, CA with a membership of 4,000. In this role, he performed a financial analysis that led to the church endowment of $1,000,000. Mr. Bryant facilitated the sale of the apartments owned by the church which paid of the debt and put the church into position to buy 60 acres for new development and implemented budgets for all ministries. He strategically re-organized HeBrews! It Café (owned by the church) brought it financially into the black. Mr. Bryant restructured the facilities department and security department, implemented video technology as part of the security system, added to the income by renting out offices in the church building which improved cash flow and helped pay down the debt. In his current role, Mr. Bryant also manages the hiring and training of staff. Mr. Bryant served as Contract Finance Director for The Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation for 7 years and currently serves as the Contract Fiscal Manager for MoKan, CCAC (Missouri –Kansas Contractors Assistance) Center which he has done since 2009. He also previously served as MoKan’s Controller for a $3.2 million budget. Mr. Bryant has also served as CFO for Provident Counseling where he assisted in managing investments of approximately $20,000,000 and Hopewell Mental Health Center and collectively saved both organizations nearly $300,000 through a variety of cost-saving strategies.

Mr. Bryant has specialized in services for HMOs and Employee Assistance Programs and been responsible for financial reporting, budget development, financial analysis, business affairs, facilities, safety and security programs. Mr. Bryant served as Cost Analyst for General Motors and over the years he has staffed finance committees, boards, transformed vacant property into income-producing property, converted manual accounting system to computer based system, updated business processes, and provided many other notable successes for businesses and non-profits alike.

Mr. Bryant holds a Master in Business Administration from Fontbonne College and Bachelors in Business from Saint Louis University. He has received Executive Leadership Training through the National Association of Black Accountants, served on the Board of Directors for both the Northside Community Center and National Board Association of Black Accountants.
